House rules at Casino Regina

A few house rules at Casino Regina are worth knowing before you leave home, starting with ID. They apply to the whole evening, supper and the Show Lounge included, not only the gaming floor.

Nineteen and over, ID in hand

Everyone who comes in has to be 19 or older, and carrying ID is not optional. Staff can ask to see government-issued ID at any point in the evening, so keep it on you after supper too. That matches Saskatchewan, where 19 is the legal gambling age. The Show Lounge follows the same line: every event there is 19+, so a show is not a way around it.

What to leave at home

  • Backpacks and duffle bags are not allowed in the building, so pack light for supper and a show.
  • Leave any alcohol you bought elsewhere at home, since outside drinks are not permitted.
  • Clothes should be appropriate, with nothing that displays violence or links the wearer to violent or criminal groups.
  • Cannabis, pipes, cigars and chewing tobacco have no place anywhere on the premises.

Smoking, photos and service animals

Smoking and vaping are off limits on the gaming floor, and the designated outdoor areas are where they belong. If you want a cigarette between supper and the show, step outside to one of them.

Photos are fine in most places. The exceptions are the Cashier's Desks, the live table games and the surveillance cameras themselves. Anyone else in your shot or recording has to agree to it first. Guide dogs and approved service animals are welcome to come in with you.

Exclusion and Game Break

Anyone who has self-excluded, or who has been barred by the casino, cannot be paid any winnings, credits or prizes there. Game Break, SaskGaming's voluntary self-exclusion program, reaches every casino in Saskatchewan and PlayNow.com, for 6 months up to 5 years.

Questions friends ask

Is a small backpack all right for a Show Lounge night?

No, backpacks and duffle bags are not allowed in the building, whatever their size. That holds on show nights as well.

Can you photograph your table at supper?

Yes, photos are allowed in most of the building, restaurants included. They are not allowed at the Cashier's Desks or the live table games, and the surveillance cameras are not to be photographed. If friends or other guests end up in the picture, ask them first.

Can you vape inside the casino?

Not on the gaming floor, where e-cigarettes are treated the same as cigarettes. The designated outdoor areas are the place for both.
